The True Creation Story

Chapter 1: Girps

Author’s Note: Thank you to my first and only reviewer o0oAnnie (is it o0o or oOo?) yes I am writing more (obviously). BTW yes, I do feel insignificant, but that doesn’t mean you should stop trying! (at what, I don’t know)

Later that evening Timmy’s dad came home from work. Timmy was still bursting with excitement over his and his mom’s new project.

“Busy day at work today.” Timmy’s dad, Tom, said, “it seems someone bought a planet in my galaxy.”

Timmy jumped up and down, “We did! We did!” He shouted gleefully.

Timmy’s dad was the minister of the Galactic Planetary Commerce Department. Basically he was the head real estate agent of the Milky Way Galaxy. His department kept track of all of the planets; who owns them and if they can support life and what kind. His department also keeps track of each planets statistics: density, length of day, length of year, mass, rotation, orbit star, and all of the other statistics that exist.

Suddenly Tom turned to Julie and whipped a bunch of papers out of his briefcase. “Tada!” He presented Julie with the mound of papers. “Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of the planet ‘Earth’… here is your paperwork.” He said with mock seriousness.

Julie laughed, “thank you,” she said, playing along, “I will do this paper work and return it to you upon completion.”

Later that night, Timmy looked through the instruction manual before he went to bed. He put it down beside his bed, turned out the light, and went to sleep.

Timmy woke up the next morning and almost instinctively reached down for the book. It wasn’t there. He felt around with his tentacles and sighed with relief when his questing tentacle met the cold, hard cover of “Galactic Gardeners”. He grabbed the book and leapt out of bed.

With the book under his tentacle the whole time, Timmy shoveled some food into his mouth and then ran upstairs to wake his mom. “Mom, mom, wake up!” he shook her violently with all 37 of his tentacles. “You promised to help me set up the sprinkler for our garden.”

Tom and Julie woke up at around the same time. ‘he’s really enthusiastic about this garden project, isn’t he?” Tom muttered

“Yes,” Julie yawned, “OK, I’ll be ready in a minute.”

Half a Girpan hour later, Timmy and Julie were on their way to Earth. First they stopped at Gardeners Galaxy.

“We would like to buy a Clowdde Sprinkler System for our garden.”

“OK we the Cirrus model, the Cumulus model, the Cumulonimbus, the stratus…” the salesman trailed off.

“Which one would you recommend for a human garden?” Julie asked

“Well, I’d say Stratus or Cumulus.”

“We’ll take… the Cumulus.”

They paid, and then got into the meteor and drove to Earth. Once there, Julie “helped” Timmy set up the sprinkler system. First they spread the Clowdde material in an even layer in the troposphere (see footnote). Then they added the hydrogen and oxygen to make water. Timmy watched the rain fall from the sprinkler on to the planet Earth.

Footnote: According to ., the troposphere is the layer of atmosphere in which all weather occurs. So if it’s wrong, don’t blame me.
Well, that is the end of my second chapter. In case anyone hasn’t noticed, the chapter titles make no sense. Has anyone ever noticed how handwriting and typing are different lengths? Written out, this chapter was almost two pages front and back. Typed, it is just one. How sad. :-( please please R and R. thank you!
