Beholder

I fear you like no other,

You hold my will by the throat

With a thirsty piece of glass.

-

And yet you fear me

For within my fingers is your fate.

Two angels locked within fear

And quiet compliance.

-

I’ll kiss your lips with my venom

And suck your poison off your tongue

You have my heart

And I have your emerald eyes.

-

Danger at my very foot

I gladly give you my affection

And only ask for your devotion.
