Here’s the alternate universe where I can escape

To stay up late and stare off into nothing

Write my pointless dribble all night long

Listen to the soft soothing music

Just let the peace wash over me

Write my thoughts for hours and hours

Where no one can interrupt me

The place where dark is settling

Time to sort out thoughts

Let off steam

Cleanse myself

For the days ahead.
