Tears must be hidden

They're only signs of weakness

Never let them free

Just stoppered behind a dam

Lose a brother-in-arms

Or take a grievous wound

Take the pain and be a man

But don't you dare to cry

Yet what is so damning

Why can a tear hurt so

I have to keep the façade

So others can draw strength

If I break, they break

And all is lost in tears

I can't cry, so that they can

To keep it all inside

While others are flowing free

When I'm all that is left

I can finally free the stream
