Magic Mushrooms

Magic Mushrooms, also called shrooms, cubes and liberty caps, are considered a hallucinogen in the United States. The main ingredients, psilocin and psilocybin, are Schedule I drugs. Magic mushrooms, both fresh (unprocessed) and dried, are illegal to possess.

Magic mushrooms usually cost $100.00- $250.00 per ounce, or $20.00- $40.00 for a 1/8 of an ounce. They can be smoked, taken orally, either by themselves, or with food, and in tea. The onset usually takes thirty to sixty minutes, and afterwards, the trip lasts for four to six hours. The most common side effects are stomach cramps, and pupil dilation.

Though bad trips are possible, they can be prevented. Paranoia is common, but not usually enough to make the trip bad. During a bad trip there’s an overwhelming feeling of doom, wondering what you’ve done to yourself and why. Bad trips are preventable, and a person who is having a bad trip can be comforted. For one thing, you should not use magic mushrooms in crowded places, or at least the first times. It’s best to know how to handle them before doing them in unfamiliar surroundings or with people you don’t know well.

Magic Mushrooms are not a party drug, and should not be taken around too many people. Taking magic mushrooms will bring you a deeper understanding of yourself, and the world. You will understand the earth in ways that you can never even begin to comprehend. The plants are alive, and along with bugs and animals, have their own worlds and lives.

Be careful. I cannot say strongly enough that you need to BE CAREFUL. Doing any drug is a personal decision, and only you can make it.
