Mo Cara
Cheiliúrta faoi na mistéir na cruinne
Mo cara, bhí mé ró praiticiúil teacht éist
Choinníteá griann, gealach agus réalta sa do chroí
Bhí mé ró díomasach fonn feic iad
Tá tú in éineacht le gealach anois, mo cara
Agus d'fhág mé ag tith brón so mo chroí
Cloisim tú glór an leoithne agus tuigim anois
Tá níos mó an brionglóid
Agus tá tú socair anseo in éineacht liom
Sa mo chroí
You once sang of the mystery of the universe
My friend, I was too practical to listen
You used to hold the sun, the moon and the star in your heart
I was too blind to see them
Now you're with the moon, my friend
And you've left me with sadness in my heart
I hear your voice on the breeze and know
It's more than a dream
And you're still here with me
In my heart
