Ah, yes. Once again I must deal with FP's horrible defacement of my perfectly constructed format. If you hope to understand the beautiful piece of art at all, I urge you to go to the following address (deleting the necessary spaces for FP of course):

Black Veil

Ineluctable envy shredding underneath
Taking out the sword from its silver sheath
Ringing tones vibrate eardrums inside
Blank white noise makes it easier to hide
l u p u s i
o t o b d e
v turning u in and o out s
Haunting every facet of my conscience
Mi amor is more and more a doubt

The loss is a rust stain that can’t be effaced
But within the time of a heart beat I’d hide it
in my labyrinth without a hinting trace
Silence is golden, I have no necessity for words
I’ve never heard you cry out, desperate to be heard
Our only commitment is peace, solitude our goal
Yet when alone, there is a growing, gaping hole

It wouldn’t be appropriate to bluntly ask
The relationship doesn’t permit such a foolish task
So others have had their grasp once or twice before
I’d never say this undoubtedly brands you a whore
I watch the movements of rhythmic vanity
Weeping inside, loss of lovely sanity
f e i r n i
i s u n
l in and t out g
Mi amor, this shadow is but a doubt
