Dragons lair

By Lissa Howe

His eyes were green staring forth into the darkness,

His wings folded down at his side,

His scales of ruby reflected a blinding light,

He waited for victims to roast,

Months pass,

None ad come,

He laughed at there fear,

He crawled out of his runs,

He hunted and found his food,

When people do approach,

What a rare treat,

Eat them he would not,

He would instead summon up the demon from below,

The one who slays mortals,

He sat there day and night,

In the Dragons Lair.
