Tired to the Death

Bone weary;

Fighting the turning tide;

Exhausted;

Beating futilely time;

Overwhelmed;

Fighting to abide;

Reeling;

My bucking steed- shied;

Spent;

Defenses- abandoned;

Worn;

Sword- cleaved up to hilt-hide;

Forsworn;

To fight till-fall-of-my-kind,

Though tired to the death.
