A/N: Another ‘food for thought’ stylized shorty, hope you like!

Perfection

-----------------

She poked out her pale lower lip in thought, crossing her arms over her chest in thought. A black puppy at her feet rolled around and growled in his sleep, most likely the result of a nightmare. She sank deeper into the crimson armchair and stared at the man on the sofa.

His hair was splayed over the arm of the couch, each their own individual strand of silver silk. His face was relaxed, his long eyelashes touching his cheekbones in his peaceful sleep. Under those pale eyelids were dark blue eyes swimming with stars of the night sky. His pale chest was exposed, his ribs becoming visible with every breath.

Raised scars lined his torso, stopping at his elbows. His feet stuck over one end of the couch and he shifted in his sleep, his metallic hair falling down into his face. His shoulder blades stuck out unnaturally far, even for as skinny as he was.

She knitted her black eyebrows together in thought. They said people were most beautiful when they slept, it was probably true, and she couldn’t help but think about how perfect he looked in his sleep. Every scar had a story, and he was anything but perfect….

No, no, he was everything that was perfect.
