A/N: …Next chapter…Hope you like……
---------------------------
Masika lounged on the beach; she was well toned and tanned, her long blue hair pulling back into a thick French braid. She wore blue sunglasses and a matching bikini. She had long well manicured nails were black with blue tips. And she was a Goddess.
“Long time no see, Masika.” Someone above her said, his tone implied a grin.
Masika jumped and opened her eyes, flipping her sunglasses off she studied the figure standing over her.
He was lean, tall; he was wearing a sly grin behind white-blond hair that was falling in his face currently. He was wearing orange shorts and sandals. He kneeled down and smiled a little wider. She noticed that each of his thumbnails were painted black and he had his lip, cheek, and eyebrow pierced.
“Kirin! It’s been so long! I didn’t recognize you!” She exclaimed sitting up and giving him an one-armed hug.
“I almost didn’t recognize you either, but, c’mon you’re hard to miss now. You’ve grown up quite well.” He commented.
“Don’t be a pervert.” Masika replied blushing slightly. “You have too, nice six-pack.” She told him, swatting his abs playfully.
“Yeah, yeah, I work out.” He laughed, she packed up her towel and they walked down the beach. She looked around and spotted an all-too-familiar face on the boardwalk.
“RINJI!” She called waving. He jumped over the rails into the water, then ran up to the pair.
“Whoa dats what I call killin’ two bird wit one stone I do believe. Hey Kirin, hey Masika.” He said, giving Masika a warm hug. “Well, ya know, Kali and Fawn are waitin.” He added shaking his now-soaked hair out of his eyes.
“Kali and Fawn? Where?” Masika asked smiling.
“Under the pier, c’mon.” He said walking under the pier where, as he had stated, Kali dressed in a black bikini with her hair falling down her back and Fawn dressed in a white T-shirt and black shorts.
“Kali! Fawn!” Masika ran over and gave them both hugs.
“You’ve grown right up haven’t you, Masika?” Kali asked, smiling at the girl.
She nodded and smiled wider. “So what’s up you two?” She asked, looking at them.
“Well- just thinkin ya know maybe us 7 should get together for a while, ya know just for old times sake, its been to long.” Rinji told her thoughtfully.
She nodded in agreement as they began walking along. “Who do we need to find next?” She asked eagerly after a moment of silence.
“Rai?” Kirin asked the older male, looking a little hopeful. “He’s in Brazil right now- honing his skills I guess.” He added smirking.
“Well- yeah, we can go get Rai-Rai.” Rinji said, waving off Kirin. “He hates that nickname too, Aeolius made it up.”
“Yeah- he flipped out. He’s a tad too high-strung, don’t you think? Especially hanging around Aeolius like his does.” Masika noted.
Elsewhere
Lightning flashed overhead as an orange haired man sat, hovering a few inches over the ground- meditated peacefully. His clothes were soaked to the bone, his hair in the same condition, falling down into his eyes. As the thunder and lightning dispersed he opened his eyes, they were electric yellow with tinges of light blue in them.
He put his feet on the ground and shivered a little. “Damn, its cold.” He mumbled to himself distractedly. He didn’t notice the person sneaking up behind him until the wind began to roar. She hovered a few inches over him, smiling.
“Hey Rai-Rai!” She shouted at him, he jumped.
“Don’t call me that!” He exclaimed, jumping.
The woman was tall and thin, she had a crooked smile on her face, which in itself was unique. As if an invisible line was dividing her into sections, one half of her face was well tanned; she looked like an average girl with blond hair and blue eyes. But the other half was pale and Gothic-looking, with dark red eyes and black hair, her clothes seemed to be divided the same way.
“Lighten up a bit?” She suggested quirking another smile.
“Aeolius…” He warned as her hands fiddled with his sleeves.
“Really you should take a lesson from Rinji, babe, he’s a lot more relaxed.” She suggested, massaging the muscles in his neck and shoulders.
“I know I know, you tell me whenever you see me.” Raidon grumbled, relaxing at her touch.
“I haven’t seen you in the longest of times.” She corrected him, continue to ease his muscles. “Why are you always so tense man? I mean- you just sit around and decide to strike some lightning and stuff.”
“I strike it when Masika has a temper tantrum and makes it rain.” Raidon mumbled, much more relaxed.
“Yeah- she does that sometimes.” Aeolius agreed, removing her hands from his shoulders and leaning around to peer into his eyes. “Now, for old time’s sake…a kiss?”
He leaned in for a second before the presence of a few others startled them.
“Oi! No kissy-kissy ’round us, k kids?” Rinji asked cheerfully.
“I think we spoiled the moment bro.” Masika giggled.
