Autumn Love

The air cools

And breezes blow

The fairy soars

The clouds below

Free as a bird

Freer still

But death seeks

Hope to kill

Leaves fade

Colors are diminished

Blanketing the ground

Until autumn is finished

The fairy seeks refuge

From cold and danger

Never truly knowing

Her existence caused anger

But deep in the dark

Of a destined night

Autumn doth reveals

A hero of might

Only of night

Our hero commends

The sun his fall

On life fluid he depends

Danger comes closer

The fairy flees still

The anger expands

Ruthless for the kill

A cave the fairy finds

Deep, dark and secure

But alone she is not

The company demure

The fairy does not fear

The intention of demise

For this is her savior

Upon the moonrise

Despite their differences

They remain together

With friendship and courting

Through this autumn weather

Emotions blossomed

Closeness combined

Autumn progressed

As their hearts intertwined

Enemy comes aseeking

Wills against wills

But the fairy is captured

Preparing to be killed

Beware of the rage

Of a lover’s wrath

A final stroke was taken

A body falling to the path

The hero revealed

The damsel in distress

The battle is won

And the enemy is missed

The air still cools

And the breezes blow

The fairy and vampire

Cherish autumn love bestow
