Hello, I wrote this one a while back when I was still in high school. I was going to try to have it published in the school literary magazine, but I was told it was too morbid. shrug

Note: a revenant is a person who died violently and has come back from the dead to revisit the wrongs done tothem back unto their enemies. The ultimate goal of the revenant's wrath is to make their enemies experience the very worst pains of existence (think The Crow).

Wrath of the Revenant

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust

You must slaughter with such a lust

So profound is your hatred of mankind

Everlasting loathing lies within your mind

You must walk with the living

You must face your own life's bidding

You must see your heart of fire

as you live your funeral pyre
