Dragons, Guardians and Elements
A breath of fire comes from its mouth
Burning the knight that dared to trespass
On its sacred grounds
It had been there since the dawn of time
Guarding over the mystic chalice
Holding it safe for the guardian of the western gate
Not letting a signal knight
Gaze upon the holy treasure of the guardian
Many have tried and all have failed
This great beast was true to his vow
As many before him
In all the realms
Dragons of all have vowed to
Guard over the treasures of all the guardians
Of the North, East, South and West
Treasures that represent the elements
Of Fire, Earth, Wind, and water
Fire for the south
Water for the west
Earth for the north
And Winds for the east
Lords and Ladies
Guardians of all sorts
Have trusted the dragons to guard the treasures
Till the end of time
And when the moon and sun embrace
But there was trouble afoot
Dragons from all over were being slain
And now only the guardian dragons remained
And so after they were gone who would guard these treasures
From the greedy eyes of men?
Which creatures would have the power besides them?
But that was far from now
And this dragon of the west
Was going to guard it with his life
Never knowing what was to happen
Every time a human came by
