Save Me

I stand on the edge of a large rock.

“No one can save me” I cry.

“No one wants to save me.”

I begin by taking one step, ending it all.

Suddenly, two arms wrap firmly around my waist,

and pull me back.

I am drawn into a warm embrace.

“I’ll save you,” he whispers.
