I Can See

I can see it in your eyes,

The darkened truth behind your lies.

All the false promises you make,

Are simply bonds that you plan to break.

How you deceived me I’ll never know,

My hollow tears I’ll never show.

My shattered hope will soon mend.

For this is my beginning, and your end.

The path is lit; it shimmers ever so bright,

Nothing can keep me from it, not even

The cruelest night.

The stars ahead are all a glitter,

I see their heavenly glow.

The journey to them was painful and slow.

My dreams were once dark, and not of my own.

Your true cowardly nature you had finally shown.

Fate has shown the door, and knob need only to turn.

For all of your deceit, in the fires of HELL you’ll burn.
