Black Samhain

A poem by BM

(Note: What happens when I get bored.)

Black Samhain's Eve, light the coal,

Release to us the ancestral soul,

Cast your shadow upon the ground.

Fill the cauldron, spark the flame,

Summon the spirit, name by name

Let them speak to us, the Earthen bound.

Black Samhain's Eve, let the magick flow,

From astral realm to the hearth aglow,

Into the light of the moon shaped round.

Peer into the glass, what do you see?

Perhaps your soul looking back at thee,

Letting you know that you're safe and sound.

Lift the athame and invoke the power,

Cast your spell upon the midnight hour,

Then restore the energy to where twas found.

Samhain, Halloween, All Soul's Night,

Give unto us the second sight.

Let loose your souls, let them roam.

Light your pumpkins on dark Samhain,

Let them light the path from the astral plane,

Help guide your ancestor's spirits home.

Comments are welcome. Please do not flame.
