Chapter 17 A happy Ending For Jo

Jo rejoiced at being able to go back to Chelsea. The police had said it was safe to go back now that the two people that had been tracking her were dead and now that the disk was destroyed. They were still tracking down Adrian though. Jo knew that he was well away but the police didn’t seem to care. They were going to look anyway.

“It’s good to have you back!” said Mrs. Radcliff when she walked into the house. Eliza hugged her so tightly Jo was surprised she didn’t suffocate. Elijah hugged her just as tightly. After she said hello to her family and then unpacked she ran next door to the Smith’s. She found Alex on the computer looking up information on the disk that no longer existed.

“You’re back!” Alex exclaimed happily. “We missed you so much Jo!” He hugged her tightly and this time Jo didn’t mind it as much. When they let go Jo just smiled as broadly as ever.

She was home
