Blood Red Tears

She sits in silence
Waiting for what doesn't come
No one takes any notice
Nor do they even care
When her beautiful blue eyes
Fill with the tears of Angels
And pour over to drench the land
Turning it red

Rivers run with crimson poison
Creatures fall dead where they stand
Her once beautiful blue eyes
Turn black with hate and vengence
Her once pure soul, a silver soul
Becomes corrupted and dark
She glares out over her previous kingdom
And she makes a vow to destroy it

The vow is heard and kept
She attacks them without warning
Not giving them time to retaliate
And within a heart beat
She has destroyed them
Like she had vowed to do
But yet, she feels no triumph, so satisfaction
Yet she has paid the ultimate price

Her soul has been destroyed
Her life has been sacrificed
And as she realizes this awful truth
She casts her head back
And she lets loose an agonizing scream
Not even bothering to take any notice
When her eyes flash from black to blue
Just to express her true pain and sorrow
In the form of two blood red tears.
