Take It All Away

You took it away

My security

My privacy

And giggled and grinned

As if it were comical

As if I didn't mean those words

As if I didn't write those poems

About you

You cackle, you laugh

You chopped my heart strings

And let my heart plummet

Into your acidic cheer

You shoot at me each day

You burn me with each day

You destroy me with

Every single day

You take it all away
