It's actually in Irish Gaelic (with English translation) , but that's not a language choice here. About loosing a friend.

Inseoidh mé an Griann

Inseoidh mé an griann a nil tá ag éirí tú ar maidin

Inseoidh mé an gealach fair tú anocht

Deir siad cónaímid i brionglóide, ach cad maith de sin

Cén gach ár bhrionglíode siad imith?

Fiafróidh mé realta soilsigh ar tú

Fiafróidh mé leoithne brostaigh tú bhealach

Deir siad a beatha fada, ach tá sé bás ró

Cad maith de sin cén tú imith?

Go gcodlaí tú i síocháin go deo

Go gcodlaí tú le brionglóide ghealgháireach

Deir siad a bás nil tá sé an ceann, ach cad maith de sin

Cén mo lá fada, uaigneach siad tosach?

I'll tell the sun that you won't be rising tomorrow

I'll tell the moon to watch over you tonight

They say we live in dreams, but what is that

When all our dreams are gone?

I'll ask the stars to shine upon you

I'll ask the wind to speed your way

They say that life is long, but death is too

What good is that when you are gone?

May you sleep in peace forever

May you sleep with peaceful dreams

They say that death is not the end, but what good is that

When my long, lonely days are beginning?
