Before I grew up a bit, I never used to let ANYONE read my stories or poems.

I was afraid they'd take it the wrong way.

But now I'm much different.

Now I'll post it online for strangers to read.

Now I'll submit some of my work to the school newspaper.

I used to take things too personal if someone criticized too much.

I used to scream, cry, and whine, after a writing competition if I didn't win.

Now I don't take things personally.

Now I welcome criticism, welcome ideas.

Now I accept things more…

I'm not perfect, no one is.
