The Devil's Road

The road seldom taken is to be mine road
Paved the way with the skulls of the dead
Will I collapse to serve my master?
Or give up my soul to walk on the dying?

Fire erupts from the Darkness yonder.
Where light dare not go, the fire is conceived
Gaze into thy light, to see mine fate
As my eyes of blue give way to tears of red...

Alas, my angel makes his presence known
With golden hair, and wings of black.
A smile on his face, a frown in his eyes
Before he devours my soul, and turns me to nothingness again

The road not taken is mine road
All that I would have, eludes me still.
