Rustling skirts of silver glass

Crystalline secrets deep and vast

Frozen moments from snowfalls past

My turn has now come at last.

-

I stretch forth my hand

And cover your sleeping world

With a shimmering blanket

Of icy, diamond stars.

-

Why do you fear my soft embrace?

I seek only to touch your face

And freeze your memories of this place,

Of this perfect, peaceful space.

-

I am the lonely winter

And there is no escape

As I cry beautiful tears

At the depth of your frigid fears.

After a forever or two, here's winter.I see winter as the sadest season. It's as if she lost something in the past thatmade her the way she is now.
