Little Poem I whipped up one day....
Okay, it isn't LITTLE. ;; Go on and read it though.
Ah....the lovely days of highschool...Please note I'm being sarcastic.
Swearing, Cussing, Gossip and noise.
All the girls wanting all the boys.
All the boys wanting all the girls,
Some of whom go to the bathroom for a daily hurl.
Most of the students look stoned or dazed.
Perhaps doing marijuanna is the newest craze?
There's the good, and there's the bad.
Some look happy, while others look sad.
Jocks are off in a corner,
While a goth walks around like a grieving mourner.
There's the girls who hold Brittany Spears as a role model,
And those who prefers Aguliera's "Genie in a Bottle."
Look there's the proclaimed "nerds","dweebs, "Losers" and "Freaks."
Over there, there's the technilogical computer "geeks".
Oh look! There's a cheerleader dating the quarter back.
I bet they'll both score a touchdown in the sack.
You'll just see nine months from now,
How that cheerleader will grow, and how!
There's the poets, the artists, and the writers.
And over there are the stoners and the fighters.
But back to the cheerleader. Will she let the baby pop out?
Or will she kill it with abortion? Does that want you to scream and shout?
Let us venture furthur into this dwelling of teens.
Perhaps we'll find out something that has yet to be seen!
There's a kid, sitting by themself, all alone.
Perhaps he's not popular because he doesn't have a cell phone?
Or maybe the problem lies deeper than that.
Perhaps his father is drunk and fat,
A man that beats on this child without remorse.
But that may just be an assumption, of course.
If it is, though, tell me why,
He hassuch a bruised body, and a frightened look in his eye.
Now those popular teens are coming over, calling the poor kid names.
This is just one of their stupid, merciless mindgames.
He tries to ignore them, keeping his eyes locked to the table,
But those teens continue on, calling him a baby too big for his cradle.
Just as he feels close to tears, finally a person steps in,
Standing up for the boy, this person has made quite a din.
Backing off, the mind-game playing teens retreat.
The boy smiles up at his savior, and offers the hero a seat.
As the two start talking, let's leave them be,
There isn't much more here for you to see.
