StoryThe wind blew through the trees, making Amaris shiver, she was walking back home through the forest from a Halloween party, and she was cold. Her friend and her had decided two weeks ago that they would pick each other’s costumes, and too make it even more fun; they would have no say in their own costume. Amaris had chosen for her friend to go as a zombie, because Casey never went as something scary, Amaris had figured it would be a fun change. Casey seemed to have had a similar idea in mind, you see, Amaris hated wearing anything that showed skin, she always wore baggy clothes, so Casey made her go as a slutty vampire (old I know, but hey, it adds to the story!). Amaris’ costume consisted of, a black leather mini skirt, a black leather shirt that had no sleeves, ended midway up her rib cage, the neck went halfway up her neck and it zipped up in the front, fishnet stockings (again, they’re getting old but bear with me!) and knee- high black boots. Also she was wearing clip-on vampire fangs
“Yuck!” Amaris said, “I am never letting Casey pick my costume ever again, I feel like a frickin’ slut!” she looked up briefly at the full moon, it was huge, and she sighed, it was so pretty, and then started walking again, grumbling so much that she didn’t even hear the blue eyed dog creeping up behind her.
“Grrr.” Amaris froze, there was something growling behind her, and it sounded fairly big.
“Oooh, a wolf probably!” she groaned to herself, then slowly turned, hoping inwardly that it would turn out to be a lost dog. “Nope, your most definitely a wolf,” Amaris sighed as she looked at the blue eyed, brownish grey wolf, nervously.
“Arrrr,” the wolf said, stretching out and pawing playfully at Amaris.
“Haha! Cute, but I gotta get home.” Amaris laughed, and started walking again, only to see the wolf trotting along beside her, “Are you following me you silly wolf?” she asked with a grin.
“I believe he is young lady,” a voice purred in her ear, and the wolf started snarling. Amaris turned around slowly to come face to face with a man roughly in his thirties, with a goatee and his hair combed back. He was grinning viciously, and Amaris saw two fangs in place of his canines. ‘Clip-ons, like mine, they gotta be’ she thought, backing away, then remembering that the wolf behind her was snarling she stopped. Then the wolf shoved in front of her, placing himself between her and the man. Amaris kept her eyes glued to the man in front of her, she didn’t trust him, something in her head just kept telling her to run, but she never got a chance. The man lunged, hissing, teeth exposed, right at her, but before he could grab her she bolted, racing away in the direction of town, behind her she could hear a struggle between the wolf and the man. ‘What on earth is up with those two?’ She thought, ‘the wolf is sooo not normal, it’s as if he knew that I was in danger and he was protecting me, and he seemed to understand ever single word I said! And that man! He’s psycho! I hope the wolf gets away from him okay.’
“Aaaaaaa-roooooo” a strange howl echoed through the forest (by the way, she’s on a path, sorry for not saying so earlier.), making Amaris stop dead, it was her wolf howling that out-of-this-world howl! She spun around in both anger and fear, planning to go back and help the wolf, but instead came almost face to face with the man from before, and he looked angry. Amaris noticed he had numerous bite marks from the wolf, but he was barely bleeding, ‘weird’ she thought, but then spun around and tried to flee.
“Oh no you don’t!” he snarled, grabbing Amaris’ arm and yanking her towards him, “You aren’t going anywhere but with me tonight girl!”
“Let me go!” Amaris screamed, biting his hand when he tried to cover her mouth.
“How dare you bite me!” he hissed, before hitting her so hard she fell to the ground.
“Oof,” she grunted, holding her cheek, which he had struck so hard that his nails had made scratches that were bleeding. Amaris looked up at him in fear as he crouched down beside her, grinning. He then forced her hand away from her bleeding cheek and she whimpered as he started to lick the blood away. ‘I was right! He’s a psycho! But he’ll hurt me more if I try to escape!’
“Marcos! Leave her alone!” a voice bellowed, and Amaris looked up to see a fuming young woman, a few years older than herself, glaring in disgust at ‘Marcos’.
“Why? We all have to feed, this girl is my dinner,” he stated matter of factly. ‘Dinner? What the hell is going on here?’
“You know perfectly well Alger found her first, meaning she belongs to him!”
“Him? He’s worthless, our servant! He has no right to claim any human, especially if a vampire wants the human as well!” ‘What the hell?’ Amaris thought, ‘what are they talking about? Vampires?’
“Hey!” Amaris barked, “Somebody mind telling me what the hell ya’ll are talkin’ about?!” just then the wolf from earlier loped, no, limped into view.
“Alger, go away, I won’t have you or your worthless companions turning her into a werewolf! She is going to be a vampire!” Marcos spat.
“Hey! Doesn’t the girl get a say in it?” the woman shrieked angrily.
“Stay out of this Alala!”
“I won’t! Alger! Quick before he turns her into a bloodsucker!” with that said the wolf lunged at Amaris, sinking his teeth into her arm, although it strangely didn’t hurt she still screamed, she hadn’t expected her wolf to bite her. When the wolf let go of her he looked at her sadly, as to apologize, and then he ran away with his tail between his legs.
“Nooooo puppy! Don’t leave me with this crazy man!” Amaris howled, tears running down her cheeks, as she tried desperately to get away from the man called Marcos. Suddenly he hit her hard on the head, making her pass out. Alala shook her head sadly and said something angrily to Marcos, before turning and following Alger the wolf into the forest.
Saika: So? You like? Oh I hope y’all liked it !
