She let the words embrace her,
opened, nosedived into a mood long missed

and she deserves this.

She turned to me and spoke with her eyes,
unrestrained, and let the feeling escape her

her eyes need not speak either.

I felt this way and felt it well;
open, I heard the plans torn out of me;
they made an empty sound.

I told her what I couldn't say
I let it all elude my untrue eye
but it only resurfaced

It's back to the way it was the whole time
in place of, whether I meant what I said, or lied
it does not matter

there isn't another way.

She let my arms embrace her
reassured, and nothing more I could ask for

I'm sure I'll be fine.
