You could be my guardian angel.
Your wings may not be made of feathers,
But You still know how to fly

Alone and desperate, I was that night.
I turned to you for a kind word or two;
And you came through, a hero in your own way.

A regular, everyday knight in shining armor;
No white horse with gilded hooves you ride.
No reason to stand out from the crowd.

Yet, you filled me with hope.
Your kind honesty brightened my night,
And all it took was a word.

So now I thank you, Guardian Angel.
You saved a life with your gentle heart.
You may never truly understand what you mean to me,
But at least I know I'm never alone.
