Dragon SlayerS Prologue

Once upon a time, in a distant world far beyond your imagination, exists a planet of man much like ours, growing through their medieval ages. Kingdoms were built, kings had fought among each other to conquer new land and wars had broken out during the dark ages. But man’s mutual enemy in this world was not man themselves. Oh, how they have wasted their time and energy sword clashing… blood-shedding… head chopped up…

Then came Dragon Lords from the dragon race. This race of giant lizard with thick hides had been a threat towards humans. Both parties cannot live in harmony for one may kill because of starvation and the other may kill in fear. Dragons had to do what they had to do to survive. And humans try to get rid of them, and the ones who did are called dragon slayers.

Dragons like many other animals were not as intelligent as humans. They had the instincts of animals. But… little did the human race knew such intelligent dragons existed; the Dragon Lords. They were born to protect their race, lead them and overcome mankind. The strongest of all dragons, they were.

And so started a legend, and the culture of ‘Dragon Slayers’ has begun. They were brave men. They had driven their sharp blades deep into their flesh and pierce their hearts. They were well-respected people because of their sheer courage. Only a number of people dared to choose this path. Some had sacrificed their limbs, some had their lives taken and some were utterly triumphant; they succeeded in eliminating the Dragon Lords.

But the reign of the Dragon Lords never ended there. It continued a few years after their deaths. Various- old and new- dragon slayers killed them again, one by one, but in vain. They would appear once more after some years. The déjà vu continued. People began thinking that these five humongous lizards were invincible, and had thought of giving in. However, there were still reluctant slayers who would not admit defeat. And because of them, after decades of struggle, the reign came to an end.

10 years has passed, and people lived with the weaker dragons, which kept themselves away from mankind. The world without the crisis of the Dragon Lords went on until…
