With you
I was with you throughout good times
Through laughter and through hope
Those billon happy moments
That kept us all afloat
I was with you throughout bad times
Through anger and through tears
Every problem big or small
That happened through the years
I was with you always, and I am with you still
For even though I may be gone
My heart and spirit still live on
In you it always will
I am with you always
And always shall I be
Remember me in mind and heart
And you and I shall never part
Forever you and me
And if you ever need me
Or find your feeling lost
My spirit still shall guide you
Through the storm and tempest tossed
Just close your eyes and listen
To the wind or ocean blue
My soft reminder, low and sweet
“I am here with you”
Possession
this is an elegy which is “a poem composed in lamentexpressing grief for or about; for the dead” it was written for my great grand mother –maw maw wimberly- who passed away last Thursday. It’s to help both mme and my family cope and remind us that she is there for us rythem and rhyming pattern sorta changes as you can tell, is to weird or is it good? I wanna know...
So please review.
