Love Gained, Love Lost: Chapter 1: The Alexandra & her
Crew
“All’s well, Captain Gordon,” a girls voice said, the tone mocking that of laid
back sailor before she yawned and laid back in her black, lightly cushioned,
seat.
“Aye matey,” he replied sarcastically, it bringing a small grin to her face.
They would be docking in about half an hour, if not more, which meant that they
would just have to wait for the ok signal from the space port before they could
get out of the god forsaken line and dock. She ran a pale blue colored hand
through her raspberry colored hair, her looking out one of the large reinforced
windows of their craft to the sparkling outside of space itself. She scratched
one of her cheeks, her long claw like nails running over only a couple of the
many purple stripes on her body. She rocked back and forth in her chair while
humming to herself, her long striped ears twitching to the odd and erratic
tunes before she finally sat up and turned on some actual music instead of
listening to herself hum. She pushed her black emo styled glasses up higher on
her nose while leaning over and looking down at the controls in front of her.
She tapped the metal console a couple of times before sitting back in her seat
once again and beginning to sing to the heavy metal music. Her long bangs
swayed as she bobbed her head, the jingling of her many earrings sounding in
her ears before she got to her feet and began to dance around, pretending to
have a microphone in hand as she sang the sex orientated lyrics loudly.
The door opened to the weapons command sector, a tall and slightly build alien
walking in silently to find his fiend dancing and singing. He chuckled softly,
shaking his head of short blonde hair with a small sigh. The majority of his
flesh was a light green while the markings on it were a bright color of lime.
His collared shirt is a mixture of bright and dark blues while his flared pants
are the one color, navy. He cleared his throat to get her attention, her
instantly stopping and blushing in mild embarrassment.
“What are you doing?” he asked curiously when a small grin came to her pretty
face.
“I was singing,” she replied quickly when he nodded.
“Apparently,”
Their ship, the Alexandria, was both Gordon’s and Levia’s, short for Leviathan. They had split the cost of it evenly and soon found themselves on their very own ship. Though the ship was both of there’s Levia let Gordon assume command on the most part, her not wanting neither the handle or the responsibility which came from the term, Captain. Gordon, both expert pilot and captain, flew the ship and made sure that they reached their appointments on time while Levia ran the ships complex weapons systems and was the second maintenance engineer, unless both were needed at the same time. To pick up the slack of navigator and main engineer they brought an android onto their ship for both help and insurance, just incase anything went wrong outside of the ship.
Gordon looked over Levia’s magenta plastic top and shook his head, it covering nothing more then a portion of her shoulders, chest and middle ribs. His gaze fell down to her dark grey jeans which had about 3 of more layers of flared black lace running from the bottom of her knee down to over her satrapy sandaled feet. He took a seat ad turned back to face her. He hardly had any interest in her other then as a friend. He watched as she played with her crimson and silver star studded belt in anticipation before the green light came on above which meant that they were ready to go.
“About time,” Levia said before throwing herself in her seat and turning around
quickly to face her console. Gordon grinned at her comment and shook his head.
“What’s wrong? Missed Ricous?” he replied when she grinned and looked over
towards him.
“Hell, I miss land of any kind,” she replied when Gordon shrugged and got to
his feet.
“I think you missed stirring up trouble more then anything,” he said, casting
her a quick glance. She chuckled at his comment and nodded.
“That too,” she said simply before the Captain left the room.
Soon Gordon was back in his seat and was piloting the ship into port, with a little help from their android, Carter. Once docking and systems shut down was complete Gordon and Leviathan left the ship and began their long trek through the metal catwalks that spanned out all around them. At the entry doors they were scanned, their names, along with some friendly robotic greetings ringing through the large metal containment unit in which they stood motionlessly. They were soon permitted entry, the large metal doors ahead of them slowly sliding open to let them pass through security. Levia looked over the doors while passing through them, them having to be about a foot thick when she heard Gordon’s footsteps beginning to trail away. She looked over at him, watching as he casually walked down the familiar streets with pride. Quickly catching up, they began to talk over their plans for the night and who would be where and why, just incase anything happened and they had to leave in a hurry.
As usual, Gordon decided to “hook up” with some of his “girlfriends” and go out clubbing. After all, that was his favorite thing to do. That and getting drunk in public that is. “Everyone has their inner demons,” Leviathan thought with a small grin. Her favorite thing to do while out on the town was going to the local bar and maybe starting a fight. She had to stay in shape some how, right? After sharing a couple of thoughts and smart remarks the two separated and left off to do their own thing.
Gordon had reached down town in no time and could hear the music pulse from the club a couple of blocks away. He had previously contacting a couple of his female, and lesser male, friends and told them where to meet. Being a well know partier he got in with no fuss or hassle what so ever. He made his way through the masses of dancing bodies until he found his group. After a bit of talking and some delay they began to dance to the hypnotizing beat and let their bodies go to work.
Almost on the other side of town was where Leviathan headed. It had been a
while since she’d been in one of the many bars of Ricous. The men knew her
well, but not on a sexual basis. She was their favorite competitor in their
“manly” competitions because she was usually the first to go in and the last to
come out. A grin came to her face at the subject, her unable to remember the
last time that she had had the honor of fighting a really tough opponent. She
walked into the bar and looked around, her grin turning into a small but bright
smile at the notice of some new people in the bar.
“Sigran’s..” she said happily, her night instantly becoming great. Both
Sigran’s and her race, the Katoran’s, share the same kind of background. Both
and very aggressive and honor bound and if they are angered them they both
reach a kind of state which is referred to as “berserker”. A
berserker is a warrior who may seem calm in collected any other time, but in
battle they loose all scene of who they are and go on a murderous rampage,
destroying everything until their enemies destroyed.
“This is going to be such a fun night!” she said gleefully before continuing
her dodging and weaving pattern through many drunks and their chairs until she
found herself an empty seat and sat back to relax. At least for the time being.
Yelling, screaming, singing! The club was alive with many different races all dancing and grinding, throwing off sexual appeal along with their clothing as the smell of drugs and alcohol hung in the large Technicolor room. On the cat walks stood Gordon, him striping off his shirt before taking another drag off of someone’s cigarette. Beside him were his two “lesbian” friends who came from a world like his, though instead of it being completely inhabited by men, there’s was totally over run with women. Many desperate men would go to that planet just to watch all the girls make out though Gordon was never one of them. He could barely hear his friends scream beside him, them pulling and ripping at one another’s clothes in a frenzy while Gordon just continued to dance, a medium height Mazurka man grabbing his attention. The shared long glances every so often until Gordon finally drove up the nerve to go speak to the young looking dance machine.
After a couple of drinks, nothing that would impair her or her fighting
ability, Levia slowly made her way over towards the Sigran warrior’s table. She
was ready to start a fight and enjoy herself when suddenly she felt someone
grab her wrist. She gasped in shock and turned her head quickly to see a
drunken yellow skinned creature clinging onto her tightly.
“Hwey baeba,” his words slurred oddly. She raised an eyebrow angrily in
response and raised a hand, quickly punching him in the face before he had a
chance to grab her ass. He fell back out of his chair, the commotion stirring a
rather large yellow being who had been sitting at the bar quietly, his dark
brown eyes now fixed on her. She gulped softly and smiled as he stalked over
towards her. She didn’t want to be the first one to attack just incase his
intentions were pure when suddenly he reach out for her and grabbed her around
the neck tightly, chucking her across the room and right onto the Sigran’s
playing table. It broke her fall but broke in doing so, her now sitting in the
middle of a couple of angry looking Sigran’s. She grinned up towards them and pointed
cutely towards the large yellow man who had thrown her. They all turned to look
at him and slowly got to their feet. She hadn’t thought that the bar fight
would start this way but it had and she was glad that it had turned out that
way because a lot of the Sigran’s at the table looked pretty pissed off. She
quickly got to her feet as table and chairs began to go flying across the room,
the fight erupting quickly which left Leviathan to find an opponent before they
were all knocked out.
She quickly went into action, quickly fighting off random drunken, but strong, opponents at random when she heard a beer bottle break from beside her. She quickly turned to see a dark grey lizard creeping up towards one of the Sigran’s, broken bottle in scaly hand as the Sigran fought off two other opponents. Leviathan could stand the cowardly and thus kicked his knees out from under him just as the Sigran turned around. The rest of the bottle shattered on the floor and the Sigran nodded in thanks. She nodded and turned as a dark shadow loomed over her. Spinning around quickly she found the large yellow man from before holding a table up over his head, threatening to smash her. She grinned cutely before kicking one of his knees and ducking as he took his first swing. A few more followed on after that, him catching no more then some poor fools that stumbled into the wrong fight at the wrong time. Her foot work was what mostly saved her but soon a tail, or something round like either that or a bottle got in her way, making her stumble and fall to the ground. She laid on the flat of her back, looking up in time to see the man grin and the table come down towards her. She held an arm up over her head protectively but surprisingly nothing came. Slowly her pink and red eyes opened to see the same Sigran from before standing over her, the other half of the table in his hands which he used to knock the other guy across the room. She looked up at him and smiled, him smiling in return before the frame of a chair rose up and smashed him from behind. Levia gasped and quickly got to her feet, grabbing a near by chair and smashing the navy skinned man before he had a chance to hurt her friend below. She knelt down and offered her hand to help him up before he pulled her closer to him and more off to one side. She was confused at first until she felt something cut through part of her arm. She ground her teeth and swiveled to see the large yellow man had come back once again.
“This is bullshit!” she replied before pulling him down with her feet and quickly getting both her and the Sigran to theirs as the sound of sirens could be heard coming quickly towards them. She squeezed the guys hand after he rose to his feet, her nodding towards the back door and he nodded in reply. The sirens could he heard outside the bar as both Levia and the Sigran disappeared in the back alleyways in hid in the shadows.
As the night went on the wondered about maybe once or twice about how his friend’s night was going but soon he began distracted and forgot almost completely about her and the raven haired, jade eyed, Mazurka danced close to him. Gordon had found the creature truly alluring and could seem to take his eyes off of him for any more then a few seconds at a time. The man had introduced himself, his name was Zoë, which in some cultures meant life. Gordon thought about it and chuckled as he caressed and kissed the mans cheeks and ran a hand through his lovely hair. His skin was a very pale grey which seemed to suit him well. He was fairly laid back about things but at the same time was a monstrous partier like Gordon. He shook his blond head of hair around wildly as the sprinklers came on to help cool the hot dancers bodies. A lot of the men and women had barely any clothes on, a lot of the woman dancing around topless, this including his two Lescibian friends who kissed and felt one another freely which a small crowd watching them. Zoë nipped Gordon’s ear lightly and placed soft kissed down his strong neck while his hands roamed from his chest onto the Captain’s back. A light flush washed over Gordon’s cheeks at the sensation before he pulled the little Zoë closer to him. Both kissing and licking both Zoë and Gordon knew that they would have to leave the club soon before they started to plain out have sex on the clubs floor. Though Gordon’s sure it had been done before he didn’t want to seem that sluttish nor feel that dirty. So, after a couple of more minutes of their little games Gordon invited him back to his ship, him having reserved it for tonight anyways since Leviathan usually spent the night at other peoples houses anyways. The idea of having the ship all on their own tonight made Gordon unconsciously lick his lips. He circled an arm around Zoë and lead him out, waving a hand out towards all his friends so then they’d all know that he was gone for the night. Once out in the cold night air Zoë and Gordon huddled together closely and began to head back towards the Alexandra.
