Save Me from This Darkness

Dedication You know who you are--demon

And so the claws of death reach out,
Coming closer as I fall.
A thousand lives I have lived to save these worlds.
And hundreds I’ve failed and watched them fall.

The noose tightens around my neck,
As I struggle to take my last breath.
She will follow me down into this darkness,
And so the devil will conquer.

Save me from this darkness.
Do not let me fall-
Where I cannot be found,
Do not let me fall-
Where no one can follow,

My fate entwined with this world.
A fleeting hope quickly dying.
This darkness taking me down deeper,

Breathing in my soul.
Trapped in this loophole,
And the curse of our existence.
We fight the demons who revel in our pain.
Were not even safe in the world of dreams.
The beholder of darkness-the evil that creeps.
The child of light- death her only freedom,
And carries the fate of this world.

Save me from this darkness,
Do not let me fall-
Where I cannot be found,
Do not let me fall-

Where no one can follow.
Enveloped in this darkness,
With a love that will not fade.
Overweighed by hopelessness,
As we quickly fade.
Falling into the abyss of hell.
To this is why we fade.

This is our curse,
This is my gift.
This is my burden,
This is our destiny.

This is our fate!
