Once upon a time, there was a little girl who always worse a purple scarf, even in the summer. She was thought to be a bit odd.
One day, somebody finally asked her why she was always wearing such an oddly-colored scarf. She said, “Well, I can’t very well take it off!” The random other person asked her who, and gave her a questioning look. “Because my head will fall off.” The random other person scoffed loudly in disbelief and tugged at the scarf, trying to prove her wrong, because the random other person had a thing with always being right. The random other person screamed stereotypically in terror, however, when the girl’s head did, indeed, fall off.
And the moral of the story is: If somebody says their head’s going to fall off, it’s best not to pull on their scarf.
No, that’s not it. How about: Proving people wrong makes you scream stereotypically in terror.
Meh. I’ll figure it out later.
Author’s Note: A true measure of how bored I was in chemistry today. It took me all of five minutes to write. And does anybody know Spanish for “morbid”?
