Red Handed

Drops of ruby fall

Down her sleeve and you call

A minute too late

This feeling's sedate

And numb

And she can't contemplate

How she could have been

So dumb

And now it's the end

And you, her only friend

Are callous to these cries

That drive her round the bend

And inside she dies

As these drops of ruby drip

As her beating heart rips

It's no surprise

That she's gone

To a place of white pills
