Why do you talk to me?

Even though I know you don’t care

Why can’t you just let me be?

Your games are more than I can bear

Sometimes I think I have a chance

But I really know I don’t

We will never have a romance

Yet I can’t give up, I won’t

You’re so sweet

But I know that’s not your true face

I see through your wicked deceit

Still I long for your sweet embrace

Stop messing with my mind

Making me believe there’s something there

Just leave this game behind
