Dearest Midori-

Learning witchcraft is so very exciting! I can make quills float and I can control three of the elements, but four soon. How is life as a ninja? It sounds very interesting. I learned a good spell that should work even though you have no magick (no offence.)

If you have a cup of tea or another beverage that is too hot to drink, all you have to do is pass your left hand over the cup widdershins (that’s counter-clockwise) and say ‘Cool the fire.’ This should cool the beverage to the perfect temperature.

I am also learning herbal arts and divination. I must end this letter early, as I must gather more lovage and clover and chop wood for the fire. (It must be always kept burning.) I shall try to send this message by fire, and perhaps we could make a portal for this purpose. If I don’t receive a reply soon, I shall send another letter by crow.
