Lacerate

Day after day it lives

Beneath the rubble of the past

Stirring and pulsating with hollow laughter

A curse placed upon a child

To carry and relive until the day she dies

Silent screams echo inside,

Hidden beneath a facilitated happy life

Tormented

It claws at her insides,

Jagged nails on tender flesh

The demon laughs in delight

While painfully penetrating outside

His hands cover her

Gently gliding along soft skin

Lacerating her soul with wounds that never heal

And beneath his sweat covered palms

My skin crawls
