So, in the end, he grew up. He imagined look at himself again- the person he was a year ago. The setting was a forever-blue earth with a tree- bearing a healthy brown trunk and faded emerald green leaves. He looked down at the boy below him who was sitting down- same face, hair, eyes, and glasses, but different attitude- a different person. He was sitting looking forward thoughtlessly, while thinking constantly inside. He glanced at the older boy as he walked by.

The older boy was wearing a royal blue hooded sweat shirt, the head part resting on his back and hands in the front, tucked away in a pouch. Much more casual and content, he sat down behind his younger counter part and leaned against the tree.

"Do you know what we have in common?" He asked

The younger one, wearing a red shirt and over shirt responded, "I think so..." and looked back, then turned to his wrist where a bracelet was. It had 16 spheres with each one having "to achieve" engraved. He then reached for his neck and felt the green braided necklace. "There's mean a lot to me...They still do, don't they?"

The older one replied, "Not as much, but I still wear them." His hands were still hidden in the pocket.

"You know, I don't like the way I turned out by looking at you, but what the hell am I gonna do?" The younger one joked and stood up. A smirk came to the older one's mouth.

"I don't know what I'm supposed to say, and this is sort of awkward." the younger one continued, "So, I think I'll get going. I probably won't see you around much. So..."

"Take care." the older one said, taking out his right hand, the one with the bracelet, and waved a few times.

"You too." the younger one bid farewell and walked to the other side of the tree and disappeared.

The now along older one felt under his sweater, under his shirt, and put his hand over his necklace. After a few seconds he put his hands back in the front pouch and watched a few green leaves get blown away by a breeze.
