A/N: I don’t really know where this came from…but if anyone likes it, it’ll certainly make me happy.

Tainted Innocence

I remember innocence

Such a fond memory, yet forever lost on me

Once mourned and wept

Spilled my soul, because then I felt whole

But as I grew

Everything was changed before my eyes

It all turns to lies

Feeling lost and alone

Broken soul, without a home

Look to that child

Soul, mind, and body so used and defiled

The hands of men forever soiled

And to this day, the scars remain

Can you hear our eternal cries?

For every scream and sigh

And for every drop of blood and tears

We may crawl back through our broken glass hell

To seal ourselves away from the night
