This one's for you Kathryn.

To a Friend

You cry in the dark,

Afraid to be lonely,

Not quite knowing how

To be without him.

-

You say that it’s love,

But how would you know?

Is it really true love,

Not infatuation?

-

The same every time,

You insist you’re in love,

You insist he’s the one.

Then it happens again.

-

He leaves you and then

You find a new man

From the dozens lined up.

Are you sure that it’s love?

Despite many attempts, I am still unable to read minds. Please review!
