Why is life so unfair?

Does no one else give a care?

Everything I loved has been taken away.

I wish that someone would say,

That everything would be okay,

But I know it won’t.

I know that everything will go on,

The way it has been.

If only you could have seen,

How hurt I was,

Would you have left just cause?

Just cause, that isn’t good enough.

Just cause isn’t reason enough.

You chose a time you knew I was hurt.

Did you do that on purpose?

Did you know that I was already in pain,

From other things that had happened that day?

My life had already been taken away.

So, then you take my only love away?

Why? Why did you do this to me?

Have I done something to you?

I try to hate you, but I can’t.

Although, I really wish I could.

For now, I just cry and hope it will all go away.

Waiting for someone to say it will be okay,

But I know it won’t.
