I can feel you;

Sometimes, if I try;

It's easier this way, you'll say,

You'll ask me not to cry.

I can see things here, and now,

That I wish I never knew;

I saw the lie inside your eyes

When you said that dreams come true;

But where do I go now,

When the path becomes a dead end,

And the rules that I live by

Are scrapped, yet again;

Won't you tell me how I

Am supposed to go on, when this

Is all that I'm left with

Out of all that I'll miss;

And, tell me, how do I leave here

And who do I blame

When the one that I trusted

And the one at fault are the same?

Tell me, who would you crawl to

To make things okay,

When the one that you needed

Didn't care enough to stay;

Can you tell me how you can look at me

And dare to say you tried?

Forever is only a word, my love,

That the foolish put their hope inside.
