I can't just let you go-

You flow through every vein.

You've infected nearly all of me,

A fraction is what remains.

Devoured at your feet…

The infection seeping through.

I've become completely entranced

With merely the thought of you.

Like quicksand, you've pulled me in.

Loneliness is my fear today-

So afraid to wake up

To find you've gone away.
