Chapter Five: The Final Installment

Many, many years had passed since that fateful day twenty years ago. The dreams had come and gone, leaving behind a devastated and much older vampire. He had graduated from college and was now living in a small cottage, not far from where he had grown up as a boy. The people had come to respect this young scholar, often stopping by for a quick chat or with their many problems.

Thaddeus had grown from a young, troublesome boy, to a well-learned and wealthy vampire, even though he still despised the thought of blood and raw flesh. He had gotten what he had worked so hard for, except for a pretty girl named Amelia Thomas. He had gone through many weeks of depression after that, but one learns to get over such things. It is here that we finish our tale of Thaddeus Hobberts and his curse of dreams.

It was a bad day for Mr. Thaddeus Hobberts. There were worms in the oatmeal and a long crack in the latrine mirror.
