We were forced to grow up- all in the course of a few minutes. It will probably make no sense, and it's really confusing unless you know what it's really about. It's most definitely NOT my best, but constructive criticism is very welcome!

A Lifetime Ago

At the very dawn of day

A lifetime ago

I was a newbon child

Teeter tottering around through my dreams

Until I woke up

Then I became a toddler

Hyper and unstoppable

Running around aimlessly

Like a bee flitting here and there

Just everywhere

Until finally I became a kid

Taming my outbursts

Timing my activities

Responsibility beginning to prepare me

Finally, I became a teenager

And he broke my heart

After she told me she would ask

Him who he liked, she didn't say

But he totally did and like I was like

OH MY GOD!

Then, you told her

Who told me

Then, in that moment

You forced me into growing up

And I'm an adult now
