Sweetest smell of faded things,

The cold air wafts and memories bring,

Cotton candy, popcorn, hay,

Longing for this time to stay,

Letting the bright lights hypnotize me,

Blurry stars I hardly see,

Wispy puffs of bitter breath,

Lift above, in black are left,

To diappear, to waste away,

Into the sky, into the gray,

My numb hands grip the icy bar,

Clutching for life, seeing the stars,

Spinning, twisting, twirled and swirled,

Grinning and laughinh at this stupid world,

Forgetting all things left behind,

Ecstasy of a different kind,

Dizzy, swerving, falling, gone,

Smiling and laughing at being alone,

Candy apples and funnel cakes,

This years worries will never take,

This special place from times of infinity,

In my endless state of pure serenity.
