A/N This is the second chapter. Are you anxious to continue?

George did not stop until he felt his arm twinge in tiredness. When he looked down, he saw that the useless girl had fainted and was a bloody mess. Looking down at her, he came to a solution that would stop making her a burden. Knowing that his own sons liked her, he decided to do the task himself. Rolling her up in the carpet that she ha bled on, he dragged her out to his private yacht. Starting the engine and putting it on its quiet mode, he went out to the ocean.

Finally reaching a spot that he deemed far enough, he dropped the carpet. Then he went out a little more and picked up the girl by the waist. Heaving her up, he got her over the side of the yacht. There, he held her body above the water, staring at her bloody back. Smiling a vicious smile, He dropped her into the ocean water. Not waiting to see if she floated up or not, he started the engine again, whistling as he sped away.

Athena had no idea how long she had been unconscious, but she woke with a start as soon as her back touched the water. Gasping as the salt in the water landed on her back, the air she had left her body. Trying desperately to swim up to get air, the fire starting at her back slowly spread throughout her body and she quickly lost all of her strength. Clawing uselessly at the water, she fell once again unconscious from the pain and lack of oxygen.

Ares Mercenary was an Atllantis-ian. He was just swimming around about twenty miles away from the Atlantis shore and he saw a figure falling in the water. A trail of blood trailed behind her as she slowly dropped. He gasped in shock.( Note:Atlantis-ians can breathe and talk in water.) There was a lot of blood. It would soon call the sharks over. Acting quickly, he swam over to the girl and grabbed her arm. The girl did not open her eyes. Concerned now, he held her in the lifeguard hold, and started to swim quickly back to Atlantis.

He rose gasping from the water, his overworked muscles protesting it’s overuse. He dragged the unconscious girl on to the sandy underwater beach. He glanced her over to see her condition. Her skin was pale and she wasn’t breathing. He clasped his hands together and did CPR. The girl rose and coughed up water and blood. She opened her eyes and blinked. “Where…where am I?”

Ares sighed in relief and answered her, “You are in Atlantis. I rescued you from the water. You were bleeding really bad.”

“Water?”

“Yeah, you’re in the ocean.”

Her vivid purple eyes widened, as she comprehended the information given to her. They saddened as she lowered her gaze to the sands, she mumbled to herself, “I knew you didn’t like me, but to throw me into the ocean…”

Ares eyes widened as he overheard her mumble, but he forgot it as the girl fell back into the sands, losing consciousness once again.
