Lullaby for the Beast

Once upon a time,

In a magical far off kingdom,

A castle stood on a cliff,

The waves crashing upon it’s walls.

In a tower, a lone rose lay,

Slowly dieing, each petal withering

As the color slowly fades.

With it goes the sun,

As it sets, the colors streak across the sky,

Purples, reds and light oranges.

All soon fade to dark blue.

And night falls on the land,

So all the creatures slumber
