I've been searching
Aimless in the dark
Trying to find
Lost fragments of a dream
So bitterly torn apart.
When did it all start
Why did it end
For a broken heart
The pieces won't ever mend
I remember that day
So clearly in mind
Cold words I heard you say
How could I have been so blind.
No pain can ever compare
It'll never be gone
Life is unfair
But I must move on.
