I don’t want to be

A giver or receiver

The special or the gifted

The lifted or the lever

I don’t want to see

These people far from now

When they start their lives

And where and why and how

But I have to be

A liver and a griever

The clueless and the gifted

A hopeless non-believer

A daughter and a mother

Is what I have to be

A sister with no lover

But never being me
